Want Power. Anything in life worth achieving…. is worth the work. This isn’t about will power. It takes WANT power!! You’re going to have to WANT to be firmer, slimmer, healthier and stronger. You’ll have to WANT more energy, WANT more vitality and WANT more confidence in your life. Personal pride builds with each bout of exercise, lean meal or healthy thought.

Change Your Tune. We want you to think of this lean lifestyle process like an old record.  You can keep playing the same broken record reliving past problems, past failures, past mistakes; all of which, fuel negative self-feelings and frustrations.  Or, you can choose to put on a new record, one that makes you feel good about you and the lean process.

Transform your body…by your mind. Negative thoughts are usually in our head, telling us everyday we’re doing wrong. Focus on what you’re doing right instead. If you take a step back, learn from it ..and take two steps forward.

Self talk –be careful who’s listening –it might be YOU. We spend too much fault finding and condemning ourselves over our fallen goals. We can be our worst critics and harshest judges. We can do more damage with our thoughts than anyone else by beating ourselves up with that powerful little voice in our head. When we say negative statements to ourselves-- it usually stops our action plans, and we normally don't move forward with our positive habits.

A Slip is not a Fall. The fundamental question is not whether you should accept failure. You have no choice but to expect it as a temporary condition on the path way of progress. Rather, the question is how to anticipate failure and redirect resources to grow from the experience. ATTITUDE Your attitude will directly affect your success. It is a constant battle between setbacks and making healthy choices. Every time you make a nourishing choice, you progress. When you have a setback, dust yourself off and get back on track. Over time, your attitude lets you come back stronger and more determined. Eventually, your healthy choices exceed and replace your setbacks.

You must understand that change is a marathon, not a sprint. Every time you make a healthy choice, you have progressed. And to get lasting results you have to jump in with both feet!

Take Action Now. Success is not a spectator sport - achievement demands action. You cannot expect to arrive at success without having made the trip. Every time you eat a healthy meal or spend a few minutes doing exercises -will get you closer to your goal. You need to act on it now and soon it will become a habit.

Reward Thyself. Rewards work! Think of what you will give yourself as a result of your hard work, focus and persistence - you deserve it! Remember, you should reward yourself with other things that you enjoy --instead of food !
