Move to YOUR Groove. It doesn’t matter what type of physical activity you choose –make sure it’s something you thoroughly enjoy –Move like no one’s watching ! Think of your favorite hobby or pastime. Do you have trouble finding time to do it? Most likely, you make time for it because you enjoy it so much. It’s the things we don’t enjoy that we put off and don’t feel bad about missing. That’s why it’s best to choose a physical activity that you actually enjoy and look forward to. Not only are you more likely to do it, but it also adds more fun into your life.

FUNctional Fitness. When you concentrate on becoming fit –you’ll be able to work out for longer intervals of time, even doing them at a higher level, jumping higher, walking longer, running faster, playing a sport better. Even everyday chores will also become easier. Whether it’s doing yard work, or simply walking up the stairs, these behaviors will become less of a struggle.

Fitness Fusion for 8 Minutes. We created and refined a workout method, called Fitness Fusion which is a very effective method to burn fat and get lean without losing muscle …..while spending much less time working out. This type of routine is much more efficient. You can get far more accomplished in less time. Your goal is to complete 8 Fitness Fusion workouts as many days of the week that you can. Strength routines are the ONLY type of workout that RESHAPES your body and boosts your metabolism so you burn more calories 24-7. In essence, by making muscles your priority - you teach your body to work FOR you.

Crown of Confidence. You'll be more confident: Who doesn't wish they walked and talked with more confidence? A consistent exercise program will do just that. As your body becomes more fit, watch as your confidence sky-rockets.

Cut down on media. For just a few days, record how much time you spend surfing the Internet, checking personal email, watching TV and playing video games whether it’s on your computer or your phone. Just a few minutes here and there can add up to an hour or more each day. Cut out just some of that screen time and, voila, you suddenly have time to squeeze in at least 8 minutes of exercise into even the busiest day.

Be an active TV watcher. It’s unrealistic to never watch TV again. So when you do, try to incorporate some physical activity. When watching TV, make it a point to walk on your treadmill or march in place. You would be surprised how quickly 30 minutes goes by when you are distracted by the news or a sitcom

FIT it in. Sometimes it’s very difficult to fit exercise into your daily life. If you miss a day or two – DON’T GET DISCOURAGED. Just keep trying and do your best. I know that you’re busy, however, if you can fit me into your schedule a few minutes a day ---TOGETHER, we will produce some amazing results. Make an appointment with yourself –it’s your time –nobody else gets it. I need YOU to get up and move. There’s 1440 minutes in a day –I’m only asking you to give me 8 minutes of your time each day –you deserve it –and I’ll be with you every step of the way to ensure your success.

Self-talk and Exercise -When you work out, what messages are running through your head? How you think about exercise greatly influences how you feel about it — and how likely you are to stick with your program. If your self-talk during exercise is all negative, your experience with exercise will be negative, too.

If any of these — or any other — negative messages come to mind during your workouts, try replacing them with the following positive thoughts:

  • I will keep trying until I find an activity I enjoy.
  • My body is made to move.
  • I will gain skill over time.
  • Others can think what they like — I won't let it stop me.
  • I may have missed a workout, but I can get back on track today.
  • I'm tired, but I'll aim for as many minutes of exercise that I can manage and then see how I feel.
  • I can and will reach my goal.
  • After I exercise, I really feel good about myself.

This week, pay attention to the thoughts you're having during exercise- and focus on replacing negative thoughts with positive ones. Doing so will make your workouts more productive and enjoyable.

Fun Fitness -You'll have fun: Believe it or not, exercise can be extremely enjoyable. Remember how fun it was to run around as a child? Tap into your inner child as you find a mode of exercise that gets you excited. Your clothes will fit better: Consistent exercise will tone and tighten your body, causing your clothes to not only fit better but to also look nicer.

Exercise until you perspire (glisten for you girls) on a regular basis. Forget the long and boring cardio sessions, do something that's fun and makes you sweat. The

first thing in the morning is the best time. It will actually rev you up for the rest of the day.

LEAN isn't about Chance --it's about Choice. Decide to be LEAN.
